The Most Ancient Practice of Leather Dyeing

Post by Ceadda »

So how far back does leather dyeing go? I’ve been looking online all morning for sources of leather dye that extend before the 10th century. I’m really aiming for First Century.

I wanna make some cool period shoes, but I don’t want your standard natural or brown dyed gillies.
