New from Torvaldr Rattan weapon holders

Post by Torvaldr »

These are a new item, hangers for your rattan weapons. Not a full scabbard, but long enough and sturdy enough to handle carrying your back up weapons to the field with you. Made from 10 to 12 ounce vegtan and molded to a round opening. A newer model to come will have a pvc liner to maintain that shape. These are the less expensive version made just from leather. They can be stained red, blue, green, black, or brown. I can Paint them white as well.

Plain leather $15.00
PVC lined $25.00

Very nice! How difficult is it to get access to a backup in the middle of combat? Biggest problem I have had with weapon holders like this is that my backup tends to get stuck on the way out. I keep wanting to try the PVC 'clip' but this looks good too.

The pvc lined ones I am going to make should eliminate some of the problems of drawing it. But they are not going to be the clip style. Just a pvc pipe with the proper I.D. to allow the weapon to slide in and out. By lining with pvc the leather will not soften and collapse. The only issue I can see is that they will be pretty solid if you fall on them.

They look solid, definitely on my hit list. Is the belt done yet?

If you can get a PVC picture up that would be great.

I'm more interested in that.

My guess is they look like the other one there with the pipe glued inside of them but they may be a little different.

They will look essentially identical to the other one. Just a bit bigger to accommodate the pvc Pipe. Just a note, these can be worn on either side. They are not left or right hand specific.

Ragnar, I am working on it as fast as my hands will allow. But I expect it to be done in the next couple of days.
