It's for Amtgard, a US LARP, but maybe an alternative to plastic?

General comments?

1. He doesn't know what he's talking about when he mentions Japanese armour.

2. A linothrax has nothing to do with lacquer.

3. His use of the word "lacquer" is laughably generic. (I like the part where you apply lacquer with your finger. Say WHAT??)

4. I'd be more impressed if he could spell and knew proper grammar.

(Why is the latter important? Well, it's my experience that people who are studied in a given subject tend to be literate, and people who aren't that literate are, by my experience, not that well read in most fields. If you can't spell it, I don't know how well you have learned it; ergo, you're not that reliable. "Curiass?")
