An authentic bargrille helm from museum

Post by brunoG »

This is a poor late renaissance close helm which was brutally adapted for gioco del ponte by cutting visor and bevor and then adding a rough grille.

Bevor and visor locked together after cutting through rivets.

Couple of latches added to keep the thing close.

From Brescia's museo Marzoli.

Other pics I took there are being uploaded at www.armsandarmourforum.com

Nice pictures! Could you cut them down a bit to keep the scrolling down?
