I need to double HG's reply with my own thank you, Sir. I have been working on improving the look of the SCA, or the little bit that wears my armour for many years....it hs evolved through many steps. To hear such affirming sentiments as yours really means a lot.

Thank you Sir.

Uilleag

P.S.: Sorry for the delay on pictures folks....had some unexpected issues arrise yesterday that demanded my attention. I will have them up hear before I open the shop this morning.

To his elder brother in chivalry the mighty Alaric comes greetings from his student in all things Vitus von Atzinger, knight and tenan of the Great House Stahlgeist-
God bless you, noble Duke. May the angels of heaven guide your lance toward the hearts of cowards and those who mock they who are new to the life of arms and loyalty.
It pleases the heavens to chastise the unworthy, and the chronicles shall remember all who paid out the coin of correction to those who well deserved it. Go with clean hands and do the bidding of St. Michael.
Myself, my entire House and my noble wife shall pray for your undying fame. Keep thy brutal hand clenched on the sword hilt, and bind in shameful chains only those captives who do crimes to Christian knighthood.
For this gift I shall reward you with prayers. You shall kiss the hand of my lady one day, and perhaps some day I shall bend my knee in the presense of yours.
God keep you and guide your most dangerous sword.
Your brother and servant-
Vitus von Atzinger

I bought a pair of Do-It-Yourself arms for my son. This should be fun!

Thanks!

I did make the gambeson in the advertisement. I am getting better at them, but I am far from proficient. I'm just not set up to produce them commercially. I can probably recommend a few vendors if you are interested.

Uilleag,

If you come up with a good offering for late 15th century body armor, let me know. I'm limping along with Cuan's old brigandine, and it's showing its age from hard use.

We are looking at Brigs as well as a peascod style breast plate...hopefully we will have quite a few more new products in production before Pennsic. However, we need to make sure that we meet our production goals before the war...gotta have product to make money. :D

Dan it is good to see you back up and running. That new stuff is SWEET!

One question how will it hold up in cold weather? With it being ABS?
Just curious.
Not that it ever gets cold down here in Ansteorra.

it should hold up just fine. let it warm up on your body for a few minutes before jumping right into fighting and it shouldn't be a problem.
