This is one of my kettlehelm proto-types. I am hoping to make some quick, solid, yet cheap Kettles to help those later personas who can't afford $$$$$$$$ to look the part. As is the case, this helmet is no where near the qaulity of those higher priced, highly prized helms. I am asking $100 + shipping as this is a hard to find helmet that usually costs $400 or so.
This 14g/12g stainless steel helmet is a solid, SCA legal kettlehelm with an inside measurement of 26". It is 7 1/2" side to side, 8 1/2" front to back, 10" top to bottom in the back, and 12 1/2" top to bottom in the front. I consider this helmet to be munition grade as it was made quickly and without much effort to clean or polish. It would be a good functional helmet for someone wanting a later period open faced helmet -that is not a bascinet! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
