Delta bench bandsaw?

Post by Baron Conal »

I picked up a used bench model bandsaw for my wife to
use to cut soapstone for pewter casting...

if not this exact model, it's pretty close ( too lazy to
walk out to the shop )

Do you think I would kill it if I used it occasionally for
cutting sheet metal?
( occasional armoring or blacksmithing projects )

With the right blade....I don't see a problem...I have a bench top that use for the occasional cuts on metal...Hasn't hurt it yet.
