Leather Arms - Thoughts?

I meant to post this a long time ago...but I'm a slacker.

Here is a photo of the new leather arms I made for myself early last year.

The cops are about 1/4" thick sole leather, water hardened (and hard as a rock). The design / pattern is my own, not based on anything in particular. Just what I thought looked good, works well in SCA combat, and is certainly plausible.

...feel free to ignore the ugly aluminum half gauntlets.

Eventually, I'll replace those with leather ones.

I theenk he really means Â¿Como? -- that being how they say it, apparently regarding Â¿QuÃ©? as crude and uncultured. It's a Spanish thing... anyway, it's the tequila, the swordhilt, and the armored fist...
