Any Interest in XXXL Linen Tunics?

Post by Lloyd »

Hi All,

Finding that I have a lot of linen that I didn't know I had, I wondered if there would be any interest in XXXL linen tunics? They wouldn't be fancy, but would be made of 100% linen (mostly medium weight).

Pricing would be $45 + shipping for machine sewn or $55 + shipping for handsewn.

I don't have any made up yet, I am just gauging interest.

BIG EDIT - after being thoroughly reminded by my LH group that there are some very need 15th century garments that this linen should be used for - I'm putting this on hold for now (Summer is ending, linen sales are coming up  ).

But, no Leo, these are simple tunics, nothing fancy (hence the price) just thought some folks might appreciate a nice tunic made from period fabric.

What colors? I'd be interested in just the linen too. I'm to little for a 3XL, but might be interested in a 2XL.

You guys would ask that...

I know that there is some oatmeal, some very dark blue, and some yellow. I am making a livery coat from some dark forest green I just got and should have enough of that left over for at least one tunic. Basically, I need to get home and go through the closet again.

I can make them in 2XL as well and for those of us that are in essence "baby giants"

I kinda want to limit the total number of tunics made right now to 8 to 10. And I do have some Calontir Trim (mostly the celtic ones) that I could add for an additional price.

Glad to know that there is interest!

Yep. If it's a gored bog tunic in oatmeal, yes! If it's the generi-celt t-tunic can't use any like that!

I may be interested in a tunic depending on the measurements that your 3XL equals.
