Not bad at all. The shape is quite nice. The "cheeks" of the visor are a good distance from the helmet so they cover the vervelles, which is often not done correctly. However, there shouldn't be so much of a gap between the top of the visor and the helmet forehead- think what would happen if someone came down from above with a war hammer or halberd backspike and caught that edge. The visor should form a continuous glancing surface with the helmet when closed- or is it not closed all the way?

helmet for sale

Post by bartholomew »

I was curious if the helmet was still available. Also could you possibly make one in stainless steel? Can the helmet also be quoted less the aventail? I have a stainless rivited aventail here that would be nice for it? Thanks again.

Very nice, if I didn't already have a dead sexy bascinet I would be very tempted.
