I really like that and would buy it myself if I didn't already have too many helmets lying around..

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

Two reasons. I like to be able to breath on the field. I like being able to see on the field. I cant count how many times I just didnt raise my shield in practice with a loaner helm because I just didnt have the peripheral vision to catch it. /shrugInsaneIrish wrote:Why in god's name would you want to do that to a Greathelm?Maghnus Ó Sionnaigh wrote:

Ideally I'd like interchangeable face plates: one grill and one solid. Maybe one day I'll be good enough to not need a bar grill.

Then wear a Bascinet. Putting bargrills on Greathelms makes the Baby Jesus Cry.Maghnus Ó Sionnaigh wrote:

Imagine how good you would be if you could kick everyone's ass without seeing or breathing.
In all seriousness, this die hard viking persona has been looking at sugar loafs all too much lately...its starting to make me feel dirty. Pretty soon my wife will ask me to "show on the dolly where the 14th CM touched me to make me change personas."

I was thinking more along the lines of melees. I wish those could be won in just a few breaths. But i did think of another one. Water. I dont like taking my helmet off every time i want water. Or better yet, how bout a visored sugarloaf.Pavla the UNworthy wrote:The fight, if your good, should last no longer than a few breaths anyways.

I have a local guy looking for a helm like this. I just sent him the link asking if he wants it. If he does, consider it sold.M.Suprovich wrote:USDInsaneIrish wrote:Is that USD or EUR?M.Suprovich wrote:160$ + shipping.
