Your Highess, there is an offside hip shot you throw in your bout with the fellow with the red and gold heater that just bends my mind.

Really awesome stuff. I keep watching it to see if I can figure it out.

Nice offsides.

Congratulations on your victory.

Hark the moaning gulls around him,
Hark their shuddering calls of terror
At his fearful fighting pæan.

Gee, and no comment about killing with a spin shot?

With the larger shields (actually pretty much Society standard 2'x3') in our Kingdom, figuring out ways to work around them is a requirement. Off-body seems the most logical to me and pretty easy once you know some basics. I also hit Rhodri with an off-side hip shot in the final fight. He yielded me the point after that.

I'm always available to teach.

Oh, and the Finals were fought off the list field because it was so hot that day, I hear it got to around 104F, that TRM moved the last fights under some trees so we didn't collapse. Sir Rhodri had just finished a very long semi-Final bout and we all were a bit worried about him. He seemed to have recovered very well by the Final fights.

Yes Your Highness. All across the known world from shores of Galveston to the hills of Amarillo, from fair Dallas to far El Paso the 2'x >3' standard reigns.

I know there are areas where smaller shields are the norm. I'm mainly basing my assumption on the majority of shields I see at major wars and what is being sold by most merchants. I've been looking for a smaller shield for a while now, maybe 24" x 30" so I've been looking at online merchants.
It appears most of the shields offered are around 2'x3'.
