Wormwood Apothecary, new company, new product line...

[Wormwood Apothecary]

We are just new this month as an official product line, so not too much in the way of pictures yet, but I would love to hear if there is any interest. As soon as I get samples in (should be this week or first part of next) I will post for volunteers to try some free samples out and give their opinions.

We make organic, all natural, and lifestyle oriented products for the SCA, Living History, Re-enactment and medieval combat athlete.
After several positive responses from various users, I decided to see if there was any interest here on the Archive. There isn't really anything specific for those of us in SCA, LH, re-enactment or even LARP that isn't totally mundane. Our products come in discreet, small bottles with period packaging and labeling, and will eventually be offered in period looking containers as well.

This is just to gauge interest at this point and see if there is any interest in more period appropriate apothecary type products.

Organic Hospitalers embrocation: $10.00
This soft gel goes on light and is made from an organic menthol and peppermint mix. It soothes and refreshes tired and aching muscles and prepares muscles and limbs for extended sport. Apply a small amount directly to sore muscles or problem areas on legs, arms, neck, shoulders, etc. and the soothing aromatics will aid in relief from cramps, stiffness and soreness. Even if the battle must continue, or the round is not yet complete, the Misty Mountains Elixir Spray gives a fresh, instant revitalizing lift beneath a heavy helm. Organic Crusade combat lotion: $10.00
For long hours in the saddle, in one's harness or even on the piste', the Crusade combat lotion will protect the body from chafing, soreness and friction that builds under armor, gambesons, helmets, chausses and chainmail. The thick lotion-paste can be applied in small amounts to friction areas and underneath straps to provide a more comforting layer when moving and twisting to avoid an opponents blade and in the heat of battle. This stuff sounds pretty sweet. I can protect from the chafe, keep me limbs workin', unchap my lips and remain fresh smelling all the while.

Thats not a bad idea actually...
The Organic Crusade combat lotion has a natural skin healer included, so it actually works like an organic deep tissue neosporin type lotion, and it's actually a dry, almost paste-like lotion, so you want have glop all over your hands after you apply some on too...

Thanks for the reply's, lkeep any thoughts or impressions coming, it is sincerely appreciated...maybe as a whole we all aren't really into personal products like this but when you break it down, combat sports are some of the toughest, I mean we are beating each other with sticks! If that doesnt make us all athletes worthy of soem training products I don't know what does....
The story behind all this comes from breaking out a mundane looking jar of icy hot at an event and having it all stink up my canvas tent to high heaven the rest of the weekend....I thought something has to be available...not yet that I know of.....
