I dont have a Churburg catalog, But is the S-14 the solid one piece globose with a stop rib? ( I'm pretty sure it is, but only have Carlos's book which doesnt have that piece listed) If so , I have a copy of one. It has straps going from the shoulders to under the armpits, that cross over one another, ie long strap riveted to the upper left shoulder to a buckle below right arm pit, long strap riveted to the upper right shoulder fastening to a buckle below left arm pit. Also a "waist belt " that goes around the lower back rivited to the lower edge.
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Otto,
Thanks for the info. I found a picture a couple of day s ago and strapped it kind of like you are talking about. I went from shoulders to bottom points (with crisscrossing in the back) then I did the one waist strap. It worked out pretty well for me but I think your way may be a little more secure. I may end up switching over to that.
Thanks again
