Mad Matt is a great business man. A couple of months ago I purchased several pieces of armor from him including full legs w/ greaves, full arms, a breastplate, and a COP kit. After about couple of weeks I emailed him and changed the arms, legs, and greaves over to splinted leather. Then a couple of weeks later I got a wild idea that I wanted everything in a different color that he doesn’t even offer. Matt would have been well within his rights to tell me to take a long walk off a short pier. What he did however was to accommodate my every whim and made all the changes I requested without even a single word about how I was (I am sure) driving him insane.
Some real world things got in his way and the only thing he said was how sorry he was that they happened and he kept trying to do things to “make up for itâ€

Hey thanks for the great review.
don't normally include straps. They were in there because you had blue splinted stuff. I had left over brown leather that wasn't really enough to make a pair of anything. So I cut it into straps and sent it so you could use the same fiebings dye and have the color match.
I wasn't entirely happy with the shape of the breasplate either. Usually they're a little deeper. I don't want to ever have to hand dish a stainless globose for a 54" chest again. Hopefully once I put my new helve hammer on steroids it'll be the one doing that.
The arms are attached like the chartres ones. Curious to understand what your plan is for re-attaching them. Always looking for new ideas. They do work very well that way though. Full range of motion and they twist as well.
Once again thanks for the great review and your business it's been a pleasure.
And no you weren't driving me insane. I'm that way naturally. Seriously though I'm set up so people can change their minds. Rather not make the sale then have someone end up spending their hard earned money on something they didn't really want.
