I fought with the King of Glenn Abhann for the Gates of Rome battle at Pennsic. (That is until he died and I lost sight of him) Helluva good guy. Great King, I hope the people of his Kingdom are as honorable as he is.

A very well rounded list...there are a couple of unbelted fighters there that are real spoilers. Sir Ashi has been really doing well on the Tournament of Champions list...Sir Rey....big strong and fast I think his back is doing better..to be honest this is one of best list of possibles I have seen in a long time. I have my favorites ..there are some fights that can happen here that could be epic. Best of luck to all.

Wow, I thought they knighted Caedmon years ago.

Of course, I think my housebrother Stephan of Durham is going to win, but if he were not in it, I would look for Caedmon to be really strong in this list.

Rey Rey is always a real contender as well.

You might be thinking of the OTHER Caedmon from Grey Niche, Sir Caedmon mac Ahern. One of Sir Thomas's former squires.

Caedmon of Jorvic is one of Michael of the Mace's. Fights mostly florentine or with a really big kite.

I did too. We stood against the Tuchux at the castle side gate. I had a strange moment when we were both dead and went for water. Some of my Omegans were on the sidelines with water, and apparently they were closer than his royal retainers. While we were drinking, a pretty lady hustled up and said "I've also got Jerky and Fruit, Your Majestly."

I went "hey, are you King?"

And he looked almost embarrassed when he said "Yeah."

9-1 Viscount Rey Ribeaumont- I think this is Rey's tournament to lost providing he is fighting for the win.

11-1 Sir Uric Blackoak- Uric has always been a strong contender in upper level tournaments in GA. I think if he legs his opponents first, then closes and kills, he will win.

14-1 Sir Loric Silvestris- I don't often say this, but I think I may have made Loric's odds too low. My magic eight ball is giving me odd readings.

19-1 Count Wrenherus Rudemann- His offense can be shut down too easily. Watch a bunch of videos of him fighting. I did. He has some good shots and stuff, so there is a super chance he might win, but if you watch, you'll see what I am talking about, and it won't be a problem.

22-1 Viscount Caellin Mac Leoid- eight ball gave me the sense he wasn't wanting it enough right now. Day of, that might change.

26-1 THL John of Widcombe- yup- dark horse!

28-1 Sir Rashid ibn Hilal- not feeling it for this one.

30-1 Baron Grimbaldus Bacon- Bacon! Bacon! Bacon! I think that is a beggin' Strips ad. That is such a cool name, like a mix of a harry Potter character and my favorite food. Not that I am a dog, but I love some bacon. With onions, and maybe liver. Or on some white bread, by itself. Or just some bacon. I had bacon at this Korean restaurant one time, and it was from a Black Boar, and I was like this is so awesome! and I cooked it at my own table, and it had a special sauce and I was so like YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love some BACON!

37-1 THL Mika'il al Rashid

40-1 THL Caedmon of Jorvik

46-1 Master Stephan of Durham

50-1 to 100-1
THL James the Holy- he is my evil anti-opposite.
Sir Ashikaga Hirimoto- will do well but this isn't his win.
THL Martin von Ausburg
Lord Blaec le Dering- use a Glaive. I don't mean a pole-arm I mean the one from the movie Krull.
THL Cathoir O'Duhin

100-1 and above
Lord William of Glen Lyon
Lord Henry of Chipenham

Enjoy!

HRH Loric has, by his count, entered 44 royal lists (both Crown and Coronet) coming in second seven times before winning.

That, my friends, is called persistence.

Banner of Valor went to Cathoir for fighting extraordinarily well using 'that postage stamp you call a shield'.

Wreath of Chivalry went to Caedmon.

All in all it was an extremely well-fought, clean, and competitive list.

I had completely discounted Loric. I figured that he was one of those knights who fought so that the honor of the kingdom would not be besmirched by low attendance. In my mind, that is a very honorable thing to do.

Apparently, I was wrong. Completely wrong. He won in a deep, heavy list.

Perhaps others discounted him as well.

No chance of that with the participants. He's been tearing it up around here for the last year, year and a half.

Actually I was 4th. Ashi beat me then Rey. :D

I have not fought in a Crown List in over 8 years and I can't explain how much fun I had. It was a fantastic day all around.

Of course, you're right, Uric...

I just remember standing with a very nervous Margot and equally nervous Kimiko at the same time.

Very nice fighting from all of the participants!
