DanNV wins Cynaguan Coronet

Post by MarkH »

Congrat's to the Archive's own Daniel DeBlair (DanNV)
who won Cynagua's October Coronet this weekend.
He fought very cleanly the whole day, and we were proud to see he and his lady crowned as our heirs. They will be stepping up at Winter Investiture at the end of January.
Go Dan!

Your Highness,

Thank you for offering me the bye fight with His Excellency before finals. I am glad to have been part of his day. It was great to see everything click for him. He has been a threat to win one for a while.

I can't wait to see the videos his lady was shooting all day.

Long Live the Lord and Lady of the Swan!

Thank you all. :) Thank you, your Highness for such kind words. It was an honor to fight in the list and the pinnacle of my fighting to name my lady, Lady of the Swan. :)

Video of finals is now online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcYe8cvStTM . The rest should go up in the next couple of days.

Dan

I've known Dan since the mid-nineties. He was instrumental in getting me involved in the SCA.......when I expressed an interest he wouldn't leave me alone until I started showing up to stuff  . He's also been a mentor when it comes to garb and armour, and he introduced me to the AA. He's good people. Congratulations! Long live the Lord and Lady of the Swan!

Yes, he is. I trhink he's living in Mountains Gate or somewhere in that area.
