This last week I downgraded my website hosting subscription since I barely used 1% of my bandwidth. However, that meant that I had to let the website crash for a day or so, and with it my email.
As of right now I'm still having issues with my email (and I think all of my inbox has been deleted) so if anyone has an order with me, was considering placing an order with me, or otherwise has contacted me please resend your email to Ben@atlantaarmory.com. If it bounces please send the email(s) to BJW0007@Auburn.edu.
Before my email reset, I had been getting many questions. Since my email is not very reliable I think it better if I go ahead and answer them here.
Q: What is your queue / production time?
A: It depends on the item. I no longer set deadlines for projects but usually a shirt will take about a month. Also, I will only be able to work on projects during the summer. I will attempt to finish both orders I have this winter but I will not be able to take on any more.
Q: What ring sizes / materials are available?
A: I have stopped making shirts out of the larger ring sizes as they take too long (sometimes upwards of a year) and are too expensive for larger projects. As of right now here are the ring sizes available for shirts and for aventails:
Shirts: 3/32" (0.02" wire), 5/32" (0.025" wire)
Aventials / Mantles: 3/32", 5/32", 5/16"
The availability of titanium in the 3/32" and 5/32" sizes fluctuates so most of the time it is not available for anything large than mantles and the like. However, feel free to shoot me an email about whether it is available at the time of your order.
I have over 16 pounds of the 5/16" in titanium so I will not be running out of it for some time.
Q: How much would a shirt cost?
A: It depends on your size and the ring type. I cannot determine the exact price except on a case by case basis. However, I can generalize the price for each ring types for a short sleeve, sub-waist length shirt:
Stainless 5/32" - $300 to $425
Titanium 5/32" - $650 to $1050
Stainless 3/32" - $600 to $925
Titanium 3/32" - $900 to $1400
By summer I hope to also be carrying 7/32", which would be the strongest, ring per ring, of the three sizes and the least expensive. It would vary in price from $250 to $300. The prices are not set in stone and I need to confirm the cost of the material once it becomes available but it will be far the least expensive of the three ring sizes.
I hope this answers most questions but feel free to ask any more.
