Conal's Painted Chest #3 painting finished ( with pics )
Lets do it again....same basic thing as before.
Plywood chest ( exact size to be determined )
This auction comes with a custom paint job with three
scenes ( the two ends and the front ) painted with your
choice of artwork in the same basic style as the pictures.
I can redraw based on existing drawings or illuminations.
The total amount of artwork will reflect the final auction
price but I will work with you to make sure feel you are
getting what you paid for and you will get updates as I
paint the chest.
This auction will run until next Friday at 8:00pm EST USA

You are a good man and a great husband. If my husband ever said to anyone...ever "I'd love to surprise my wife with..." I would keel right over. He's a fine man, but these subtle things just elude him...
Keep up the good work.
Carry on...

Thank you.
I try hard to do right by her, Ryan is a wonderful wife and mother, as well as a saint for putting up with me.
Occasionally I do things right. Most of the time though, I fear, "subtle" comes at the end of a 2x4 between the eyes.

Painted in progress
Green chest
with these images on the ends

Not having too much luck finding something in the same style
that I like for the front of the chest...
Anyone have suggestions?

the photos are taken at an angle because if I go straight on the
flash reflects too much. That has distorted the image a little.
I've noticed that some of the less precise artistic styles of the
middle ages are a little harder to get 'right'. The finer points of
what makes the images look like that are of the correct style
can be hard to define and harder to get 100% correct....I'm
pleased with the end result, but I think I want more practice
on this timer periods illuminations....

Good Baron,
Your work is most inspiring, Thank you.
Still working on boxes my self. I hope to be as skilled as you one day.
