New Garb

Post by B. Amos »

My wife rocks, she just finished up some new garb for me to go winter camping. linen braise and under tunic (sorry not pictured), wool chausses, light wool tunic, open sleeve wool over tunic lined with camel moehair and a wool hood to top it off. garb was based on images from the Maciejowski bible c.1250 with patten help from "the Mideval taylor's assistant". now I just need to make a nice coller for my dog.

Nice clothes! When you say open sleeve, do mean sort of like a garde-corps, where the armpit/upper arm is open so you can slide your arms through?

Nice dog, too.

Looking good Amos! You look like you could be in one of the Gerry Embleton books.

I need to finish up my Maj bible outfit with one of those outter tunics and a new set of shoes/boots.
