Hjalmar Update (Jan 23)

Post by hjalmr »

Greeting. It would seem that I forgot how to make stuff while being on vacation for 16 days as I am making armor 2-3 times just to get them right. Hopefully it will all come back to me soon. Until then, here is an update:

I finished 4 helmets this week (7 if you count the screw ups) so I feel pretty good.

John Edgerton –Sallet shipped.
Meredith Parks –Youth Spagnhelm and Kettlehelm finished (had to make twice as the first one was too small) and shipped.
Ted Binford –Spartan helm finished and shipped.
Jeremy Jennings -Frisian/Phyxian helm ready to ship.
Michael Widener –Spagnhelm w/oculars finished and ready to ship.

Daniel McElroy -Roman helm almost finished (had to also make twice as the first one was too big)

Brendan Haiduk – SS Custom Klapvisor
Brian Dimmock –SS Close Helm
George Abercrombie -SS Crusader Helm
David Downey -SS Spagnhelm

John the Tall –Gladiator Helm (did you send payment?)
Travis Johannsen -MS/SS Spagnhelm (did you send payment?)
Laura Duffy -Gorget, Cops x2, Demi gauntlets.
Karl Marx -klappvisor.

I think that covers everyone. If you have paid for an item and do not see your name –please PM me.

Post some more pics of these finished helms. I would like to see how these ones are coming out, cause your work keeps getting better and better. And i am interested in having you make me a helm.

screw ups

Post by Karl Helweg »

Are you looking to liquidate those screw ups? I would like picts if you have time just in case. There is a local Roman with a BIG head here who possibly might be interested (if we can pry him off Warcrack).

Oh, I plan to sell the screw ups -they just came out the wrong size. I already sold the roman helm and I plan to sell off the others soon.
