Well, while I had hoped to make it up again this year, it happens to fall opposite the celebration of my parents' 60th wedding anniversary.

I have not healed enough from my surgery to fight, and have not been able to work for the same reason so I have no product to sell.
As a result I have been on the fence regarding attending.

Hit up Horace, he and Simon Redbeard will be there.
Sadly, I won't be . It was Birka or returning favor of an old friend who is having a benefit show that day in Brooklyn. He played mine so its good that I can return the favor to him.

I have a new heraldic Surcoat coming for Estrella. Also Marcus and my wife are making new coifs and arming coats, life is better. Unfortunately not in time for Birka :(

Now i just need a new brigandine (it is ancient and ratty), 1/2 gauntlets and arm harness so I won't be a complete embarrassment to the order.

Off to BAT practice, see if my arm works better yet.

Alexander, I have decided to attend, its honestly a little painful not being able to fight and sell my armour, the surgery recovery bit has got me down.
I finally went to fighter practice today, first time I have smelled the burning rattan since my operations and even though I could not play I still enjoyed myself.
So I will attend, I have some folks I need to speak with and some things to drop off to folks so I will be there for a short amount of time.
I have some scans for you as well.

I'll be there and swinging. Not thrilled that the tourney only runs from 11-2. 3 hours seems so short for a list with so many combatants. 11-3 would be nicer. I understand the need to get the tourney floor cleared for court and everything, but 2pm? Little early, really, isn't it?

Ah, but unfortunately for you I've not authorized in pole yet, so I'll just have to take my sword and lay it upside your head. :-)
