I'll call dibs pending price & pics if possible. I'm looking for a cheap set, what do you want for them and do you have sizing? Definitely interested, send me a PM.

Just an FYI I had to unexpectedly cover the midnight shift so when I get out at 7 EST I'm going to go home and crash for a couple hours - I will check this when I get back up around lunch time (just so you don't expect and immediate response).

okay,
here are the pics.
please note the slight patina of rust.
and the thumbs.
for some reason (and i dont remember this happening) both thumbs are missing the small middle plate.
but there they are.

the articulation is still pretty good.

Those look like old Mandrakes- I inherited a nearly identical pair a few years back that were even more smashed up than these, and they worked pretty well once I got them rebuilt and cleaned up. The enclosed thumb tips are worth the price of admission by themselves. :) I'd snap 'em up myself if my house wasn't in power-saver mode right now.

REVIEW OF GAUNTLET PURCHASE

Post by William Freskyn Murray »

Just wanted to complement fraychef, he posted a pair of used gauntlets for cheap, we came to terms on price quickly, I sent him the money and he sent me the gauntlets. They arrived today and are exactly as described and with a little tlc will serve me well for years.

He did forget to shoot me a message to let me know they shipped but other than that I would say a perfect transaction, I would not hesitate to do business with him again.
