Viking Home Companion Live!

Post by Torvaldr »

Would you like a live performance of the Viking Home Companion for your household, local group, Principality, Kingdom? I offer live productions of this show. You get at least an hours worth of stories, songs, and the commentary between stories that you don't hear on the cds. The commentary goes over what parts of the stories are true examples of Norse culture, which are just exaggerated and what is completely made up. Most of the songs are filk and I hand out song sheets so folks can sing along. What does it cost? You pay my gas and feed me, let me put up a tips basket and set out CDs for sale. What is my range? Anywhere within an 7 hour drive of Erie Pa. But any place place over 4 hours away will have to include crash space.

Like a live performance at Pennsic? Reserve a night there. Rules for Pennsic, feed me, tip basket, and let me tell folks I have cds. I already do live performances at my tables at the Pillaged Village on Mondays, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 5pm

Excerpt from a new story being work on for this year.

Who says berzerks are stupid?

"We were just finishing up pillaging a village on our last Viking, and Sven and I were looking up at the church steeple wondering how we was gonna get the bell down. Hakkon wandered up, took one disgusted look at us, and tossed a torch in through the front door...."
