New Knight in the West

Post by Duke Uther »

I wanted to announce to one and all that my squire Sighfridh Hauknefr was offer admission to the order of Knighthood of the Kingdom of the West. I am extremely pleased personally to see Sig become the Kings man, our household is now making plans gather in celebration. The Date of his elevation will be Saturday morning @ Beltane. The Vigil will be Friday night of Beltain. This has been many years in the making, and
few kingdoms along the way. We all know, it is a long mile that is walked, for a man to reach Knighthood.

I want to share this with his friends on archive and also those who know him from distant kingdoms.

Life is good

Post by Duke Uther »

I have been real good, employment up in the air work a bit. Hope to land firmly on my feet there.

Sig will be my 5th Squire Knighted, and I had 5 men in March Crown list. It was a great weekend for us all. All the boys are very excited that Sig is getting Knighted. We even had our tricky lefty one go 8 rounds and get the wreath of valor, he has only been fighting and training with me for about 9 months. I might need to retire my next generation of guys is starting to scare me.

Excellent! Since he moved out there from our neck of the woods I try to look him up for pick-ups at Pennsic, and it has always been a blast.

Congratulations!

OK, I was under the impression that he was Knighted already at March Crown. (I had to leave shortly after finals.) Good to know that I will be able to witness his elevation.
