I got a few questions, First are the sides of the elbows rigid enough to work for SCA armor by themselves, or would I have to modify them? (I'd rather not, they look so nice!)

Secondly, what size are these? I'm a large fellow and believe that I'll have some trouble with most armor due to this, most of it seems sized for the smaller gents that are more common ;0).

Thirdly bout how much would shipping be to me at 31314 in the states?

I happen to come across a pair of these in a trade, and I must say, they work great for SCA combat. They are very rigid and sturdy and I would without a doubt recommend them for anyone who picks up rattan.

Post Script: Since I did not buy them direct from Magnus, I can not give him strait 5’s, but I would whole heartily give him a 6/5 for quality and protection.

They're designed for SCA combat, shipping would probably be around $20, and the sizing would be dead on. As for the length of the arms, they have about an inch at the end that can be trimmed down if needed.

Magnus' gear is hard as nails. I've bought some, I intend to buy more.
