SO how much for the greaves? And/or legs? Not that I need much more loaner stuff here.....

I'll point this out to a few folks so that you can try and keep it together. I'll be glad to bow out with my passing interest if you find a buyer for it all.

At 6pm eastern time I will try to contact James the lion about his friend if I get no answer Ill go ahead and break this up.

these are the prices I want. Feel free to haggle but I can say that these are close to the lowest I will go.

helm 130 dollars (it is strapped and padded)

Breast plate 120 dollars

Legs 250 dollars

greeves 50 dollars

chainmail with aventail 170 dollars Yes it is aluminum and yes it is butted but this is the best butted chain I have seen bar none. Plus it is lined in brass around the neck, arms, and bottom

These prices do not include shipping.

The hinge on that klappviser is permanently affixed, right? (i.e. it would not become interchangable with a grille unless a new hinge were made and attached)

Yes it is permanent. However looking at it you could cut out the existing pin holding the hinge together and put in a cotter pin that was removable.

I just do not want to deal with ebay so here is the deal before I send it to ebay.

I'll pay all shipping to anywhere in the continental US and cut off the amount it would cost in the continental us off the shipping to anywhere else.

That will say from 10-15 dollars on any piece. Plus you can still dicker over the price.

I need to clear some stuff out. Once this is gone we get to the 14th century clothing and odds and ends I am spring cleaning.

I really just sort of want the greaves for loaner. If keeping them with the legs helps you sell them that's fine; I can wait a week and see.

What other stuff might you have? Basket hilts that look like gauntlets? Whole rattan weapons? Bucklers? Shoes?

BTW - checking a map I notice that Alaska is a big part of the continent that the lower 48 are part of so it must be continental, right? (Did you mean contiguous?) While UPS and FedEx are outrageous here USPS is quite reasonable and fast (when there are no volcanoes going off) since even media rate has to come by plane. We have no roads.

Syr just an observation, if you check James River Armories web page Eric is selling his stainless steel legs new for $245. The pictures they look a little scratched up but no major dents so I'm guessing they are new or "like new" but you are selling them more than the maker is (even though you are including shipping CONUS).

They wouldn't fit me so I'm out either way, just thought it might help you to get them moved.

Actually there is a little grime on the legs no scratches more than just laying in a bag as they really havent been used but once or twice. Five dollars isnt much to pay for something that will ship out without having to be built and I have already decided to come down with no shipping.

I was asked the same question by the maker and as I said to him if nobody buys them I will keep them.
