Sir Bryce there are some rumors floating around that Sir Afshin Darius might not be allowed to fight in this crown, because he does not meet the height requirement. Can you confirm or deny these rumors.

Sir William,

These rumours are indeed true. Apparently King Logan plans to stop by Carowinds on his way to Crown and borrow a "You must be this tall to ride this ride" Droopy the Dog Sign, however, fret not for our diminutive little friend!

The Atlantian Insider has it on good authority from an anonymous source that Phone Books are being express mailed to the Site from some of the larger Metropolian Areas.

No word yet on how Sir Ashfin plans to reach his oppenants using his T-Rex like arms, but here at the main office of the AI we respectfully suggest he invest in some of these.

Not only will they add needed Reach, but thier adamantium is one of the few known metals that can pierce Atlantianium.

Sir Bryce this just in; Sir Theron Andronikos is rumored to have actual flames on his arms this crown, instead of just having them painted on. Can you confirm or deny this rumor? And is this considered a grey area since the rules of the list do not prohibit such an action.

Indeed he will. The Swansboro FD will be standing by, just in case. When asked for a comment, The Swansboro Fire Chief simply stated "What the <censored>??"

This just in; Rumors are circulating that the Dark Apprentice has not given odds on any of the Kingdom Crowns lately; because his Magic 8 Ball has been taken by Somali Pirates and is being held for ransom.

I'm not sure if he will fight better, but it is a documentable fact (at least according to the guys at the carwash I go to) that Flames on the side of a car will make it go Faster.

They will also look BADASS.

Therefore, Sir Theron, already being a spritely, wee man, might just shoot off the side of the spinning earth. Here at the AI we suggest he time his movements to go counter with the rotational spin of the earth.

However, caution must be used in this tactic, so as to not spin time backwards, like in Superman, The Movie, perhaps going back in time and altering some seemingly meaningless event, that might lead to the noble knight's birth never occuring.

Wow, awesome lineup.

My sides hurt from laughter as I read the followup posts...that was just wrong on so many levels.

If I had to pick three, I'd pick Sinclair, Bryan and Afshin. I don't think I can narrow it down any more than that.

See you guys in a couple weeks at Feast of St G.

Now that my pyramid of doom has been completed, I have finally been able to get some decent reception in time for the changeover from analog to digital reception on our tv and to hear all those calls...

Sorry for any delays.

I donto see a dominant fighter in this group. There are many VERY GOOD fighters, but no one who is a standout winner.

Count Jason Kinslae 10-1 On a roll after his last win. If he wants to do it again so soo,, I think it could very likely happen.

Count Sinclair Hawkins 12-1 Itching to follow up Logan. Will do well if he has some coffee.

Count Robert de Rath 16-1 hasn't been on the circuit much, but is a force to worry about.

Sir Theron Andronikos 18-1 is fighting well but needs to learn to be mean.

Sir Bryan of Sacred Stone 20-1 injured?

Sir Vladimir Aleksandrov 27-1 Can't finish the tourney with a pole. I thikn he has finalled about 28 times now.

Sir Afshin Darius 30-1 getting closer to the finals. Maybe this will be his first one.

Lord Ragnar Ribcracker 33-1 needs new swords, methinks. 33-1

Lord Matthew of Battle 34-1 can beat anyone on the list, but does not have consistency yet.

Baron Mungoe McKlinchey 47-1 will likely tire out by the finals.

Lord Christian Thomas of York 50-1 continues to better, but not ready for the win.

Over 50-1

Lord Kieran Hunter

Lord Griffin Warwick

Enjoy!

Umm, look again... they are only rated for 16 ga Atlantium, not the 10 and 12 ga that many Atlantian Knights wear on their noggins.

This will be good. I'm looking forward to Sir Vladimir winning, as he's been in finals HOW many times?

This is a Crown Tournament that I think I would just like to go to and just watch and videotape.

I rarely, ever like watching fights in the SCA, but given the field this should be better than ANYTHING in the movie theaters or television for the last ten years. This should rock!

Please. I just mistyped. Ronnie James Dio's music creates a vaccuum whereever it is played....

Too bad there isn't an SCA sports show like "Redskins Sideline". I used to really like that as much as football, but I only occasionally give it a half glance nowadays. Now I look forward to crown tourney speculations and eager shouts of people's favorites (who they hope will be the next monarchs).
Especially these small lists where the odds are so tight. It's like an all-star competition. Atlantia has some mad skilled people in the list.

Sir Bryce there are some rumors floating around that Matthew of Battle ran into a phone booth at Blackstone; and moments later an object as fast as a speeding bullet flew through the air. This may or may not deal directly with crown but inquiring minds want to know.

Sir William,

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control (and our desire to protect the true identity of the Champion of Truth, Justice, and the American Way, if in fact these allegations are true!) we at the AI are unable to positively confirm or deny such rumors.

However, we did recently obtain photo evidence of Matthew doing some light sparing with a certain Mr. Billy Batson, Champion of the wizard, Shazam, at a recent fighter practice...

This is excellent news! Many congratulations!

There was a blurb on the Merry Rose mailing list that said it was Count Robert and Sir Vlad in the finals.
