SWORD LOST AT AE WAR PRACTICE!!!

Post by DELETEMYACCOUNT »

Hey, did anyone that was there find a really really sweet brand new basket hilted sword that obviously wasnt theirs at AE war practice this last weekend? Dagar, the cheiftain of the Kur lost it during the very first fight of the day and spent the rest of the day looking for it. I'd love it if the person that found it, or if you know who found it, let me know so I could make a brother happy. He's really bumming cause he'd JUST made the thing. So if you know anything please speak up. No hard feelings, he'd just like his sword back.
Thanks!

Probably a dumb question but did you call the shire/barony that put the event on and see if they got anything in the lost & found box?

I lost a pair of nice, steel gauntlets at an event once and was petrified because they were loaner gear. Sure enough they turned up the next day in the lost and foudn bucket. I love you Scadians :).

My guy Wulfstanus found a couple weapons. One was an axehead the other I believe was a sword. He handed them over to the MOL tent.
I didn't know about it til after we were heading home. I was there when Dagar was asking about his sword at the MOL tent. Wulfstanus dropped it off later in the day.

I'd check with the barony lost and found by calling them..

Master Jacopo was the autocrat, his email address and phone number are both posted on the event web page here http://warpractice.steltonwald.org/

Since it's published I don't mind copying and pasting it here to save a step for you email is jacopogm (at) yahoo.com

Hope that helps and hope he gets his stick back, nothing worse than using a stick once or twice then it breaking or vanishing!
