Not sure who the maker was. Got it off the Archive a few years ago when a gentleman in the Midrealm passed away and his widow was clearing out his armor collection. I am 5' 10", 230 lbs with a 46 in chest and a 42.5 in waist and it fits me perfectly. 16ga

Sorry for the hold up on the review. I can't say enough good things so far. protection is fantastic, it is actually cooler than my 2 layer linen fighting coat and the pads stay in place. After about 5 min you forget you are wearing it. Only issue is a minor one at best. It is hard to take off by you...

All, a while back MR had steel kettle helms. they now only carry the polyurethane ones. Anyone have one they would be willing to part with. The wife has her heart set on one and i can't find any. Rumor was that Kingdom of Heaven bought them out, but who knows.

I have known Grim for years, owned pieces of his armor. He has sat in my kitchen teaching leather working to all comers. Great craftsman and his beautiful lady makes wonderful clothing. Top notch stuff from both of them.

Helm arrived on schedule. It's beautiful. i would give the whole thing 5's across the board. Contact was easy and updates on shipping were spot on. Helm is solid and fits nicely. I hope to do business with this armorer again.
