Somersby Cider for Pennsic
I recently traveled to Toronto for work and while there discovered many good foods and beverages. Unfortunately the one I most desire turns out not to be available in my neck of the woods. While widely distributed in Canada, it appears that only a few US states carry it. (As of now, Somersby Apple C...

Agreed, I definitely didn't think them very camp worthy and they do not fold. I guess I considered them more of a throne for the home. I couldn't help but admire them though, and I've heard so many people talk about owning a pair over the years that I just didn't think it was fair to keep them to my...

So I came across these yesterday while enjoying the free air conditioning and waiting for fireworks. I am not the one selling these , but I thought someone here may have an interest, so I thought I'd share. I live very close to this shop and can help you get in contact with them if necessary. 2 Carv...

There is a lady in Aethelmearc who does this, and teaches it also. Her name is Fredeburg von Katzenellenbogen. She does a beautiful german persona. She always looks like a perfect Nuremberg Woman, hair fringe and perfect gathered front. I'm not sure if this info is still all correct for her, but she...

I say this not to be rude or to discourage you, but Joanns is not know for carrying quality fabric. I work for a company that does fabric liquidation and the amount of fabric we won't resell from them is frightening. Alot of the stuff just gets pitched. :( That comment out of the way, i would say th...

I gave up on paypal a while ago. The service was terrible, the fees were always changing, and the turnaround time was unreliable at best. I was always having a hold placed on my funds and people didn't receive my invoices. I use wepay now. Not a single problem in over a year and I've made 100's of t...

Finishing tent poles
I would like to spruce up our tent a bit, and was thinking about finishing my tent poles. But I'm not sure what to use. We have a 14x16ish wall tent with 12 exposed short wall posts. The larger, interior poles and ridge are douglas fir. They are a nice, rich rose color by nature. The exterior poles ...

I embroider these alot... more than a sane person should. For that reason, simplicity is key, and gold just gives me a good excuse for metal thread.
Thank you all yet again.

I have no extra armour, and no skill at making it. I can however sew up a storm.
If he is ok with linen, I can help him with a tunic for over everything and a coif to keep the sweat from his eyes.
I'll send you a pm for measurements.

Interesting.
Though I must confess... I'm not sure I understand what that would look like off hand.
...A gold background, a water bouget with a red outline?
...or is it A gold background with a red outline, a water bouget without color?
Sorry, my herald speak is only so fluent

See, this a perfect example of why I get so frustrated. How did all of these get passed? Grrrr.... I just don't understand how some...
