Galleron, beware of the decadent pleasures of kicking persons in the nuts after they have clearly shown themselves to be worthy of having said nuts kicked. Herewald the Wake?

Hey can anyone point me at a good layman's book of the legend of Herwald?

I keep seeing the occasional reference to him, and it's kind of irritating that I don't know his tales yet. :)

I think a button option would be a cool potential extra, but that the stitched would probably be your bread and butter in the long run. That being said, I think split and button as an extra with a few button options would be the best way of doing that. Might be able to team up with another SCA vendo...

How wide were streets at this time? Not, I assume as wide as a modern 2 way street.

Just curious, as knowing that would give a better idea of how big an area this is designed to be used in.

From what I've read, the native Irish largely only used Coinage when trading with foreigners. Like the Hiberno Norse, who DID use coins.

The native Irish stuck to their ways, barter, and ring money, until the Normans ruined everything....Er I mean, conquered Ireland.

Hey, where can i find some detailed info on Ring money? I think it might be neat to have some kicking around as a native Irish guy during the Norman invasion.
While I've seen some photo's, I've never gotten any detailed info as to size, scale, weight, and materials of them during that period.
