I am going to attempt to take a dress kettle and convert it to a youth combat helmet for my boy in a week or two. I will post pics. I will probably braze the grill work.. he is 8.

These are mild riveted with a 30 inch circumference I have been emailed by By the Sword...it would work..it is mild so you would need to keep them oiled..

I am going to be making a COP using ABS plates. Considered doing leather but was wondering the plastic plates, canvas be period and hold up. Basically use this pattern with smaller plates to stress down on fabric. Pics and suggestions welcomed ..thanks

side to side from ear opening to ear opening 8 inches. front to back inside 10 inches across. 27.5 internal..that was tricky to do.
Hope that is what you need..I have the good black foam that is in it right now..never been fought in..4 d rings welded in for chinstrap rig. ...let me know
