Look up duke dirk in southern California and there are a few others down that way. I think sir brand had a hand in some of the design, i am not sure about that though. It was a popular design in the early to mid ninety's out in southern cal.

Hey where do you live. What area? adding a 50 amp 220 circuit even in an apt garage is not that hard. I can guarantee that there is an electrician in the complex that will come over and add a plug for you for a 6 pack to a case of beer with out modifying the garage that much. I could be wrong but that looks like an old Freon can helm made back in the late 70's or early 80's.

Go with at least 3/8 to 1/2 it will hold up bettrt than 1/4 will. If you can curve them it will help with the strength of the shield also. Just my suggestion any questions I'm me.

When you buy from Ash craft baker you need to add at least 3 months on the order. It will come down to two things one is the way the helm is padded and the other is the chin strap how they use it or strap it.
