My linen arrived yesterday!! It's awsome! And you can barely see or find those minor marks/stains. And by the looks of them they will wash out easily.

Re: Any interest in Custom Machine Embroidery
Yeah before we got our own machine.. I really was worried about sending off our own designs to be made because I didn't want the patchmaker turning around and offering our stuff to sell to other people. And If I paid for the set up.. it's still mine.

Re: Any interest in Custom Machine Embroidery
Alot of places I've delt with in the past only charge $35 for a set up fee. and 3x3 usually start around 5-7 a patch and go lower if you buy more than 10. 4x4 usually go from 7-10 each.. they don't jump $25 in price from the 3x3 size. and a 5x5 usually start about 12-15. You can always buy patch bla...

I ordered a pair of the halfbreed Rus pants that Adric recently offered, as well as a pair of linen Rus pants. They arrived today. They look great. The quality appears to be great. The colors look great. Really nice workmanship. The only negative at all is me not the pants. My calves are a little b...

Other than a slight difference in them compared to yours.. Historic Enterprises sells them for 19.95.. it will at least give you a starting point. http://historicenterprises.com/pouch-drawstring-c-12001500-p-787.html?cPath=100_131 but theirs uses woven trim sewn into the sides that goes up and becom...

The wife is wrong, but good luck with your sale. Heh, she can't be wrong. She chose it herself. At the gun shop, the dude tried to sell her the snubbie 38 with the pink grips.. the taurus 22 with pearl handles and gold fittings.. and all the ladies guns... She almost threw a purple gripped .380 at ...

Re: Linen Fabric Weight
If it's just for daily wear and not for fighting in.. 3.5oz is just fine for undertunic clothing. Most of the women's chamise's that are linen are this weight and we wear them just fine as undertunic clothing. But, even for fighting.. if you still have a layer of cloth/clothing between the 3.5 and t...

All of this beeswax is RAW when it gets to us. we filter it several times to remove impurities. After that we either harden leather or pour it into blocks for later.... the blocks make excellent sealing for bladesmithing. Ok the HE one tells you that it looks to be more of a way to transport your arrows vs use as a bag quiver.. where as the second IS for use as a quiver. So, just depends on what you want.
