First Pennsic aftermath, so something like 6 years ago. I think I have a closeup of that one somewhere. That would be bruise day one, then hits on said bruise on day 2, then hits on new bruises on day 3, hence the discoloration on parts of it since part of it is a few days old at the time of the pic...

I want to second what NeeSayer is. I bought my helmet from Jackie, and not only does it look amazing, it's rock solid. He asked me multiple question when he was making it to make sure everything was fine, and it was great.

The mitten style are actually recommended by a lot of people now as starter gauntlets for steel fighting groups. You would probably want to get rid of them as soon as you could but at Combat Con I was talking about different gauntlet options with several fighters and these ones came up as a beginne...

I own one of Magnus' leather gorget. It's comfortable beyond anything I wore before, it's sturdy, and the small padding in it makes a world of difference when that freak spear shot gets straight to your throat.
