Hopefully this helps things in determining fit. But also keep in mind that I'm offering to redo the fingers for the new owners... And if these are purchased with some time prior to war, I can knock them out and get them out...

I wear a large gloves from Darkwood and they fit just right.... If you need specific measurements, let me know...

those are punched "daisy head" upholstery nails with 1/8" dome rivets... should be able to find them online....

I just rechecked and 1.6mm is not 16ga... it's 14ga.... so the thickness would be fine for SCA conventions...
My only question is the spacing of the bars... which is a quick fix

beautiful work as always!
I have to wonder whether the barwork of the back of the helm, shown in the pic of the helm upturned, would be SCA lega because of the spacing. I see that a liner and aventail is mounted, so would that make the wide bar spacing legal?

The points are reinforced with 3 layers at the point and a leather backing that the lacing goes through...
Since this kit is primarily for Pas de Armes and the Deed,
I have no real worries on having to go to my knees while fighting...
