3 years from ordering, practically to the day.
27 months since estimated date of delivery.
And I'm in a different country, so getting legal involvement is tricky.

Illusion Armouring
Well, they're now 14 months past their estimated completion date for a breast/backplate, and aren't answering their emails. Anyone got an alternate contact method? (Or I may just e-mail them from a different email account, with a header of 'New Order', and a receipt request )

I kind of object to paying a 25% bribe to get my order.... 4 months after it was estimated to be completed. Right now we're at -25% for missing the estimated date by more than 3 months

Re: 16th century Illuminatti time to show off your kits!!!
So, what do you do for a fancy dress hack, when you have a wardrobe of 16th century clothing. Yep. You put on Doublet, dutch slops, long boots, and a dutch coat (and a modern riding helmet). Also in picture 'Ice Queen'
Oh, and it snowed. Lovely and warm, though.

Very happy with them.

Re: 16th Anglo Irish armour
Just as a thought, the Image of Irelande (http://www.docs.is.ed.ac.uk/docs/lib-archive/bgallery/Gallery/researchcoll/ireland.html) shows a lot of hauberks in use by both the English and Irish forces (and yes, 50 years later than the OP). It's a bit hard to make out whether any of the heavier cavalry...

Or a cheap (2nd hand) costume helm with the original bars removed, and replaced with perf, painted (per Robert of Canterbury's suggestion!) to resemble the facial bars on period examples.

Re: WTB Cut and Trust helm and Weapons
Honestly, I'd go the 'adapt' route. Depending on the precise nature of your heavy helm, for example, you may be able to get an alternate visor raised in perf, or even just 'slot fillers' Failing which, pick up an 18g costume helm, and smile sweetly at your local armourer. It's worked for me (three t...

Sadly, you're 8" taller than me, and probably bigger around chest/smaller around waist!
The helm would fit, but I fear it'd be out of my current price range (*mutter about £800/month pay cuts*).
Beautiful kit though!

I'm curious. You have two 16th century breastplates. One is shown with a backplate, the other as museum pictures of the front only. Do they both come with a backplate (ie, as a cuirass), or just the one? Only the one IN STOCK comes with a backplate Is there a sizing guide on your site at all? I'm p...
