Thanks! Spoke to Dave direct about it and he said he would price it out at 650ish brand new (which is what I paid some 6 years ago, if I recall).

I thought 375 for a new fighter locally was pretty unbeatable!

I don't know that you'll get a better deal for a Roman helm, this is certainly a high quality piece at Starter helmet level price.

Yeah usually b/c of the size and weight of the average helmet they're just not cheap to ship especially if it's got to be insured for any sort of value (which most all helmets are these days). I've always done USPS when selling old helmets and everyone I've ever bought one from has done the same.
