Yeah Roundtop I have seen your CoP and that leather is too thick...Joe if we don't make a woolen/canvas shell (more sewing...ugh) I think 4/5oz leather should be plenty...or if we go 20g stainless instead of 22g then we can get 3oz Chrome tanned leather which should be plenty resilient to handle the...

Wow this seems so much easier to make the C Belt or even an arming vest garment. I think I might build one to use for my splinted leg harness and see how it holds up. I will make sure to talk to you and Doug about it!

I would assume thigh circum...as inseam wouldnt dictate the number of plates but rather the size of the plates...and yes I do have 34 inch circum thighs...guess who has to get custom chausses and braies?

Are they built to overlap or meant to have gaps between them when riveted to the leather cuisse? Also I have a 34 inch thigh...to get proper coverage do you think I might need an extra plate? Thanks!
