info needed for "7th century barrel cup"

Does anyone have any clues on the attached image? it was in one of the many many pdfs i have with the caption
"7th century barrel cup. Original was about 8 cm tall. (Bruce-Mitford, 1975-83)"
The second half of the info would be where would one find something similar to buy(bigger would be better) ?

Thanks guys , lots of food for thought...

I think i might go for the viking leathercraft turn shoe (no vibram) and give them a crack if its too slippery i will look into getting a sole added.

Turnshoes... To vibram or not

So the next step of getting my Valsgarde kit to look a bit better is shoes... I have been thinking about this for some time, trying to work out what would be best, but I have always had in the back of my mind the lochac combat rules of "must have ankle support" (lets just leave the validity of that ...

I wear a linen shirt and a tunic made out of thick wool, was sold as "horse blanket" . I wear a riveted chain shirt over top of that. Works great, thats all the padding i have for SCA fighting, The only suggestion i have is sew an extra layer or 2 inside on top of the shoulders, i get some funky "wa...

WTB - Knee cops in Europe

Hello, I am in need of some simple low profile fanless knee cops, I would prefer aluminium/stainless or plastic for simplicity of maintenance but mild is also an option. They will be worn under pants for SCA heavy fighting. The problem I have is it seems I will be paying as much for the postage as I...

It looks like a wierd fusion of a sicilio-norman faceplated conical and a kettle hat. Would not one of these serve your needs (and be more authentic)?
