Oaken Rose,

Since your location shows Calontir, you may want to look up Sir Sato (up in Three Rivers/St. Louis area), Both he and his lady have menpo that they fight in.

I sent a PM after you posted the list requesting a globose kit (black, large or whatever is appropriate for 5'11"/34" waist). If that's already gone, I'd like one of the unfinished globose fronts w/ wrapping plates

I would far rather see people using the most appropriate weapon for their time period and kit than a fixed type of weapon for this tourney.

For instance are maces and hammers appropriate for a 9th century noble? If not, wouldn't requiring them defeat a major purpose of this event?

I should have mentioned this before, but like a dang n00b I did not. The price does not include shipping, which would be $20 anywhere in CONUS.

Sivrid, I apologize. If you need to back out then let me know.

Perusing the Calontir Calender, your best bet is the event in Lonely Tower (Omaha, NE).

Baronial investiture for Mag Mor will be at that event, so there ought to be a good showing.

I am all for period accurate gear, but everytime I see someone take the field in turnshoes or period footwear, I inwardly cringe.
