Okay, now you have me intrigued. What other time periods would you like to see us cover with these Getting Dressed Guides?

You don't have to restrict yourself to the SCA time periods. We go through WW2.

And Maeryk gets it in one! Period examples of slashing are almost always done on the bias (at an angle to the straight of the material). The nature of the bias direction prevents ravelling naturally.
