Standard plate counts for Wisby D plates is around ~500 plates. Suit jacket size 44/46 = 500 plates 550 if leather straps over shoulders get plates.

I have a need for maybe 200-250 loose riveted rings, and I bet that some of the guys on this list have a bunch sitting around you would like to sell me. If you have rings that you have extra frm that voider project, let us know so we can pay you for those extra your not gonna use.

Cool idea.
Not to fragile, don't use stone. Go with a hardwood.

Attachment method to hold in place for rattan is always an issue.
