At least it was sent back... I ordered a helmet from Ukraine a couple of years ago - it was shipped, got to US Customs, where it sat for 5 months. Then I received a piece of cardboard clearly cut from the box it was packed in stamped "No Contents Found" - They held a piece of cardboard for 5 months?...

Yes - these are fantastic. I would definite use these on arms, legs and breastplates especially.

what would you need to for different shape? Pictures? A pattern sent to you?

Let me dig around - I have an old Talon armory kit I started years ago but never got around to doing much with - It's Kydex and really solid, and should be fairly easy to assemble. Will get back to shortly

It was mentioned down thread that he was in the military (reserves I assume since he has a full time job). Unfortunately that means the helmet won't be SCA legal without modifications, as 27 mm = 1.063 inches. In the future, you should know that if a 1 inch diameter dowel can fit into the helmet that it is illegal in the game that most of the people on this board participate in. There are quite a number...

What a shame this law wasn't in place last year when customs ate my helmet from Ukraine... But they carefully cut the top off the box it WAS in after holding it for 6 months and sent me the box top stamped "No Contents Found"... So it apparently took them 6 months to send me a 6x6 cardboard square.....

These are nice, I finally got around to putting the set I bought last year on my legs for WMAW, they are light years better than the flimsy leather they replaced, and I expect they will outlast the leg harness they are attached to.
