Message from Murdock: Everyone should have everything except for a couple of shield blanks which Katy doesn't know how to ship. They will be sent as soon as I return from boot camp or until Katy figures out how to get Fedex to take them. Everthing I was trying to get finished before boot camp should...

I remember someone(and you know who you are, and im paraphrasing here) telling me that if you hit someone in the SCA, it should be just hard enough(ie hurt enough) to make em wish you hadn't hit em.

Yeah, thats the plan. Was gonna use em and see how they worked, and add the wrapper plates on next visit. Not to mention time constraints :) Probably make em outta 18 gauge stainless to conserve on weight. They weigh about what the old 16 gauge legs I had from Lewis weighed. The stainless is a great...

managed to slice the back of my left middle finger open today while drilling a hole in a elbow cop for strapping, the drill bit snagged and spun the elbow cop around which flapped around and the corner caught the back of the finger. doh! should be better by next fighter practice.

lactic acid buildup is not the reason DOMS occur. Lactic acid is out of your system within 30-60 seconds of ceasing doing whatever activity caused it. On a sidenote, the lactic acid itself is a type of fuel your body uses, and as your muscles become more efficient at using it you increase your lacti...
