I have the same helmet in SS with a solid back instead of the slatback, this is a great, solid helm and the nasal disappears when you are fighting...It's a great buy and Hjalmr is great to work with.

The helmet was borrowed from Sir Reimond of Ipstones because some idiot walked away from his homestead without his own helmet... o.O

I would think it would depend entirely on the thickness of the plaques, but I would probably not exceed a couple pounds on the belt just because after that I would think that it would become to cumbersome.

The shoulder still does not appear to be dished deep enough. In fact it looks as though it is dished about half as deep as it needs to be. This could just be the camera angle though.
