Also to answer the original question about why not shield-check people - Personal danger. I am 5'7" and 250lbs. We have a couple of 5'2" 120lb women fighters in my barony and were I to full-on shield check either of them, they would go flying and likely get injured. Because we need to keep the rule...

Never bother with situps or pushups, they don't build strength at all. Useless exercises.... I know a good many female soldiers who disagree with this.. but to each thier own. And they are wrong. If you can do more than ten reps it builds endurance, not strength. Endurance training is less benefici...

there were a few incidences with the Tu Chux I had Two , but nothing that wasn't handled on the field..... marshals courts are for the real heinous stuff that happens... :eyeroll:

A interesting detail is both of these Knights, are what we would call are bachelor Knights, meaning neither are Viscounts. inevitably you will get the guy that is the "I know guy" that your are training... patience is a virtue with this guy.. I use a technique that I "learned " from Duke Radnor (from the west) I will fight new folks about a click above where they are. I still maintain control of the fight..plus it gives...

Atenveldt I can only name two of the top of my head.... Duke Craven Evil Mutant very robotic uses a round shield and has the Patened Sombrero manuever. for a little guy he can hit with the best of them.. Duke Arron Graves really big, longer than normal arms pretty sure his favorite shot is a mulinet...
