Since we're on the topic of Coats of Plates...

What is the best rivet length for a CoP made with plastic plates, 1/4" or 5/16"?

Tom,

I do really like that idea, since I was still pondering what to do about a gorget, this would kill two birds with one stone.

I was planning on covering all the plastic plates with thin leather and rivets, so it'll still look good.

Thorvaaldr is my door to the SCA world. He had me over his house to show me all his stuff, I'm hoping he's gonna have an armor workshop there sometime soon, I'm trying to get all my plans/supplies in order so I kinda know what I'm doing.
