The next step will be to glue felt to the inside, but I'm completely without fabric gluing experience.

I found an old military box which used to contain some sort of portable lighting system for $35 at a thrift/surplus place near where I live. I've been looking for something at least quasi-period (or at least not plastic) to haul stuff in to events, and figured this would make a nice project... [img]...

WTB Left-Handed Rapier

Does anyone know where to find a left handed SCA legal fencing rapier at a decent price? Alternatively, does anyone have one they want to sell/trade?

Also, any other fencing gear in a mens' large anyone wants to sell/trade would be great. (mask, jacket, etc)

Anyone had any lucky with scaboots.com? I have been fighting in a pair of their boots for about 4 years, and love them to pieces. It does seem more efficient to go straight to the source. :) That's how I got my helm from hjalmr. I finally got to test mine, btw, and aside from some mild deafening, it works great. Although, I am thinkin' earplugs next time.
